Magic in the Dark Places

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

                    -2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NKJV Bible)

Distortion Disguised as Weakness

When we stop trying so hard to change who we are, then the magic of who we truly are will shine through. Our God like nature will reveal itself in the midst of the darkness we create in. The monsters that we perceive as our enemies are the forces that can only help us to peirce the veil that hides the truth of our identity. It is when we look these dark forces in the eye that we truly see the magic incapsulated in the thing we fear the most. It is in our perceptions and the power of our mind that controls what can be our paradise if we can see through the illusion of the matrix around us. We are are pulled in so many directions, pressured to conform to the influences all around us, pressured to submit to the norms of our environment.

Change Your Focus

Deciding not to focus on things that distract and suck you into a negative vortex increases your power and energy to create the life you want. All you have to do is see it in your minds eye and to walk toward the path of your paradise. True paradise comes thru your ability to control your focus and pull your energy and attention away from negative energies that distract and pull you off the path of self discovery.  When we stop fighting against the current and to gently pull our attention and energy from things that zap our energy and throw us off balance then we begin to coast from blessing to blessing, freeing us layer by layer so that our radiance shines bright like the sun.

Your Vulnerability is Your Biggest Strength

So count it all joy when you are persecuted because now you have an opportunity to look at the demon in the dark and see that it is your own reflection that has been distorted and disfigured. It is in that darkness that you can pull back the veil and see the truth in your pain and transform your perception of that part of yourself to see more clearly that aspect of yourself and to bring it forward to the surface. For example black kinky hair is regarded in modern society as undesirable, but seeing symbols of strong black women embracing their natural beauty and hair and embodying natural kinky hair is equivalent to shattering the perception that black hair is ugly.  As your perception changes you pull your energy and attention away from people, objects and symbols that throw you off balance and pull you away from your true nature. You stop paying attention to any info that opposes the image of beautiful kinky black hair and gravitate to situations and environments that embrace it.

Tell Your Story

Our biggest vulnerabilities are our biggest strengths. We change the distortion into strengths and allow God to shine through. We have to learn to release the lie that causes us to suffer in trauma and see it and from there create the reality we now want, one in which starves the old reality of energy and powers the clear version of ourselves through symbols, images and all things that boost the clarity of who you are.

Bring Others to Life By Becoming the Hero in Your Story.

And this my friends is the reason for following your purpose or aligning yourself with a calling that is directly linked to one of your biggest struggles. You ressurect the true nature of your being by walking out your calling, healing lives through each step you take in the direction of your calling. Your story is your power and your struggle brings many back from the dead. Your healing comes through your purpose freeing you from the chains that shrouds your true identity. So when you think that you are weak, remember that you are being called to a higher level. It is time to act and to start walking in the direction of healing and sharing your story. It is time to empower those who are struggling more by giving them hope to keep going on. That is how God Shines through.
